Who Am I?

Roderick Dwayne Belin.  People call me one of those three names depending on how long they’ve known me. I have this desire to be a really cool and hip guy, but as it turns out I’m really kind of corny.  However, if you are just meeting me, you would greatly boost my cool factor if you’d call me “Big B.”

I’m pastor of a church I planted in 2005, Kairos Community AME Church.  The people who’ve become a part are full of love for God, each other and still others.  We work smart together to put our love in action.

I am part of a very close family of people who are complete failures at respecting boundaries.  We are all up in each other’s business and discuss it behind the others’ backs.  We are also a family of experts on most subjects so… should you want any advice (and even if you don’t), all you have to do is be around one of us and you’ll get plenty.

I’m a ‘foodie’ and love to cook and bake but hate to clean.  Consequently, I only cook when I have friends/family around who’ll do the cleaning.  My friends say I think I’m an Iron Chef but they are wrong.  Seriously, why would I want to be one of them when I could easily kick any of their butts?

One Thing You Probably Don’t Know About Me:

I don’t wash my jeans until they start to stink – if it’s not summer and I bathe everyday this can be a very scary long time…
